Stainless Steel Balls When maintaining the integrity of the ball finish in a corrosive environment is important, choose from our quality stainless steel balls, which are being manufactured for such applications as bearings, bicycle parts, casters and wheels, etc. Stainless Steel balls that we are manufacturing are in general classified into two representative groups viz., high chrome (martensitic) and high chrome-nickel (austenitic) stainless steels.
Martensitic Stainless Steel Balls The stainless steels (>12% Cr) of this type are provided with the martensite structure when quenched and their corrosion resistance is rather inferior, but better mechanical properties, as compared with the austenitic stainless steels. This feature makes them especially useful for ball bearings and valve applications.

Austenitic Stainless Steel Balls The non-magnetic high chrome-nickel stainless steels with the austenite structure are showing no quench hardenability, however, featured with high toughness, good corrosion resistance and remarkable mechanical properties at high and low temperature. The balls made of them are widely used for valves and the related equipments.

440C Stainless Steel Balls for Miniature Bearings
The technical innovations in a variety of industrial fields such as computers, instruments, watches, etc. have initiated the rapid growth of miniature bearings. The 440C stainless steel balls are used instead of high carbon chrome alloy steel balls for miniature bearings, for which the corrosion resistance is required. Our intensified research works including the unique passivation process are guaranteeing high precision, long durability and good surface quality of our stainless steel balls for miniature bearings.
